Betty Ivy's Puzzle Compendium was born from a simple observation: when you finish a great fantasy or sci-fi book, you don't want to leave that world behind. You want to linger in it, turn its names and places over in your mind, and share the experience with others who feel the same way.

That's what these puzzles are — a way to stay inside the story a little longer. Every week, I read a new book and transform its characters, locations, and lore into a handcrafted word search and crossword puzzle. Each puzzle is paired with a short review and a link to buy the book on Bookshop.org, supporting independent bookstores.

The name "Betty Ivy" comes from the botanical world — ivy is tenacious, beautiful, and it grows everywhere. That's what I want for this project: a living, growing collection of puzzles that reaches readers wherever they are.
